This painting plays with absorption and reflection of light by using different types on india ink on printmaking paper.

The image is a simple wide landscape of the Loxahatchee River where I grew up in Florida. I often sat on the dock at night staring at this scene looking east towards the inlet. I was fascinated by change in the scene based on lights, moonlight, etc.
